6 spiritual Self- Care activities:

Start each day with intention.

Set a few minutes aside at the start of each day. Use this time to connect with your inner self, practice mindfulness and set positive intentions – these go a long way to manifesting success, abundance and happiness in each and every day.

Practice Gratitude.

Gratitude is a powerful way to repel negative emotions, such as greed, anger, or envy.  By reflecting on all the good things, you have in your life such as relationships, health or career this will keep you in a positive mindset each and every day.

Pause and Breathe.

Counteract the stress of a busy lifestyle by pausing regularly to breathe.  Stop what you’re doing, close your eyes and focus on the flow of your breath.  Do this for at least one minute a few times a day to feel more relaxed and centered.

Spend time with nature.

Surrounding yourself with nature is a powerful way to relieve stress and re-connect your energies.  Whether it’s a walk in the forest or by the beach, nature has a beautiful way of rejuvenating our spirits.

Write things down.

Releasing the thoughts in your mind by writing them down has many powerful benefits.  Writing helps to calm overwhelm, clear your mind, process your feelings and affirm your perspectives and goals.

Read an inspiring book.

Filling your mind with inspiring thoughts and ideas is a great way to clear any creative or emotional blockages.  Sometimes all it takes is just a quote or a page from an inspirational book to reboot your motivation and positivity.
