“Sustainability and the Environment are important to me”.
At MindTuner, reusable, sustainable and plastic free packaging is super important. All of our packaging is made from either sustainable or recyclable materials and designed with the intention to look beautiful so you will want to repurpose and reuse it.
Our products are packed in either a beautiful eco-friendly cotton pouch and/or a gorgeous keepsake box handcrafted from sustainable mango wood by local Indian artisans. They are then shipped to you inside a recycled or compostable mailer.
All our paper products, Mantra cards, mailers, instructions etc. are printed on recycled paper and are recyclable.
Our satchels may look like plastic and feel a bit like plastic, but they’re actually made from 100% biodegradable and compostable materials.
Specifically, corn starch, PLA (made from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate). Our clever compostable satchels have passed Australia’s stringent AS5810 certified home compostable requirements, which includes a worm toxicity test, so they’re even worm farm friendly.
Once you have opened your satchel you can simply take off the label and pop the satchel in with your food scraps. The satchel will biodegrade within 90 days in a regular home composting process.
At MindTuner we abide by the following three frameworks to help us develop and improve our sustainability.
Compostable Product Range
Compostable packaging is typically made from a number of renewable plant-based materials and/or bio-polymers. To be certified home compostable, a product must break down in home compost within 180 days and 90 days in commercial composting conditions.
Recycled Product Range
Recycled packaging is made from previously used paper and plastic products, including single use bags, bottles and other common plastic and paper items, therefore doubling its lifespan.
Repurposed Product Range
Repurposed packaging is packaging that has a built-in second (and possibly third, fourth, etc.) use. While most packaging is typically single use, and recycled after it accomplishes its primary goal, reusable packaging can be used many times for a variety of functions.

Sendle were founded as Australia’s first 100% carbon neutral delivery service, and to this day have maintained that same commitment. They are also Australia’s first technology B Corp, and, now the first courier in Australia to trial 100% biodegradable, compostable satchels.
What does carbon neutral actually mean?
Basically, whatever CO2e you emit is cancelled out by a process known as ‘offsetting’ – that is, supporting projects that reduce emissions, like regenerating precious forest, replacing old equipment with more efficient technology, or even training communities in beekeeping!
How does Sendle offset?
Sendle calculates the highest amount of carbon that could be generated by any given parcel send. This generates a carbon yield number. Using that number as a guide, sendle uses each parcel contribution to fund sustainability projects via South Pole.
